These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of spear.host ("we", "us") and the game server hosting services we provide. By placing an order or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.
2. Services
We provide game server and Discord bot hosting on shared infrastructure. Resource limits (RAM, storage, CPU) are shown on each plan. We may update, improve or change the platform at any time. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
3. Payment and renewals
Payments are processed by Stripe, and by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. Plans are billed in advance for the period you select and renew automatically until cancelled. Invoices are due on the date shown. If an invoice is not paid, the service may be suspended and later terminated and its data deleted.
4. Refunds
Because services are provisioned instantly and resources are reserved for you, payments are generally non-refundable. If you have a problem, contact support first and we will try to resolve it. Chargebacks without contacting us may result in termination of your account.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- break the law or host illegal, infringing or abusive content;
- attack, scan or disrupt other networks, servers or users (including DDoS and botnets);
- mine cryptocurrency or run workloads unrelated to game hosting;
- resell or share your service without permission;
- violate the Minecraft EULA, Discord's Terms of Service or Developer Policy, or the terms of any software you run;
- run bots that spam, scrape or sell user data, or abuse the Discord API.
We may suspend or terminate services that break these rules, without refund.
6. Backups and data
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. We are not liable for loss of data, worlds, bot files or configurations, whatever the cause. Keep your bot tokens and API keys private: anyone who has them controls your bot.
7. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time from your client area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate your service at any time if you breach these Terms or put our infrastructure at risk.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last month.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
10. Contact
