This Privacy Policy explains what personal data spear.host ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and our game server and bot hosting services, why we collect it, and what your choices are.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password (stored hashed), plus any billing details you enter such as address or country.
- Order and service data: the plans you buy, invoices, payment status, and details of your game servers and bots (name, region, software, resource use).
- Support data: messages and attachments you send in tickets.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and server logs created when you use the site or panel.
- Cookies: see section 6.
We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe.
2. How we use it
- to create your account and provide, set up and manage your services;
- to process payments, issue invoices and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to contact you about your services, invoices, and support requests;
- to keep our systems secure, and to fix and improve the service;
- to meet legal and tax obligations.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:
- Stripe, our payment provider, to process payments. Stripe handles your card and payment details under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We only receive limited information back, such as payment status and the last digits of your card.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers that run our servers and networks, and a content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) that sits in front of our websites.
- Email delivery providers that send account and billing emails.
- Internal tools such as chat notifications to our staff about new orders, which may include your name and the plan you bought.
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users or services.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and order data while your account is active, and for as long afterwards as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes, to resolve disputes and to enforce our terms. Server data is deleted after a service is cancelled or terminated. Logs are kept for a limited period.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a security (CSRF) token, and your language and currency choice. We do not use advertising cookies. Blocking these cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most details in your account. For any other request, email us at [email protected] or open a support ticket, and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and restricted access to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept it.
